While at Grace he pastored Crossroads, the college and singles ministry, and served as the executive pastor under Dr. John MacArthur.

In 2005 Rick founded the Resolved Conference, a ministry that calls a new generation to live lives of serious devotion to Jesus Christ. In August of 2011 Rick accepted the call as pastor of Mission Road Bible Church where he currently serves. He and his wife, Kim, have three sons: Luke, John, and Mark.

Bob Taylor  Executive Pastor

Bob grew up in a “typical Christian home” in a very small dairy farming community in western New York. He was taken to church all his life and grew up learning that church and good morals were important. However, it wasn’t until his teenage years that God lifted the blinders from his eyes and he realized he was a sinner that desperately needed a Savior. He came to an understanding that church and good morals could never satisfy a Holy God. He came to a full assurance of his salvation after placing his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Bob attended Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Church Music/Christian Education. He has served in churches in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and Pennsylvania before moving to Hutchinson Kansas where he served for nearly 9 years as the Minister of Music at Grace Bible Church.

In March of 2005 he moved to the Kansas City area to become Associate Pastor of Worship and Administration. He and his wife Kathy are the parents of three children.

“And this is the testimony, God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; He who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” – 1 John 5:11-13 NKJV

Grace Nichols
Receptionist

Grace was born in Decatur , IL during her parents furlough, but lived most of her life in Northeastern Brazil where her parents are currently still missionaries with Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission. When she was six years old, she and her family attended a conference where Joni Erickson Tada was sharing her testimony. While Joni was speaking the Lord opened her eyes to realize that she was a sinner and needed to be saved. That same evening she repented of her sins and trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior of her life. She returned to finish her studies, and is thankful to the Lord for leading her to MRBC where she is nourished by the sound doctrine and is excited about the opportunity to serve the body of Christ.

“Not to us, O LORD, not to us, But to Your name give glory Because of Your loving-kindness, because of Your truth. Why should the nations say, ‘Where, now, is their God?’ But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.” Psalm 115:1-3
